Der japanische Fotokünstler Hiroshi Sugimoto hat sein 1993 fotografiertes Werk "Uttwil", das den Bodensee zeigt, der irischen Rockgruppe U2 als Cover des neuen Albums "No Line on the Horizon" zur Verfügung gestellt: kostenfrei.

Sugimoto sagte in einem Kurzinterview der The Japan Times, er habe nur einen Bruchteil einer Sekunde darüber nachgedacht, zu welchen Konditionen er das Foto zur Verfügung stellt. Wörtlich sagte der Künstler zu Bono, Frontmann der Rockband, am Telefon: "Wie wäre es mit einen Steinzeit-Deal - Kein Bargeld! Ihr bekommt die Abbildung und ich den freien Gebrauch des Titelsongs des Albums." So sei es...
